By continually growing in our knowledge of human format
ion, theology, apologetics, scripture study and other subjects, our Sisters are more fully equipped to serve others. Although we, in our Community, do not purse formal degrees, we do life-long on-going formation. The more resources and funds we have, the greater our formation opportunities are. If education is something dear to your heart, this is a way we could use support.
Sharing the Good News is at the heart of what we do as Disciples. Overflowing from a deep life of prayer, evangelization takes place any and everywhere we go. In particular, we are in need of funds to undertake more foreign missions. You can join us on our missions by your provision. There is a spiritually hungry world waiting to hear the message of hope and peace.
We have served in Monterrey, Mexico for over 30 years yet have never owned our own convent. The time has come for us to permanently lay down roots there. We are currently in the middle of building a mini Prayer Town outside of the city. This is an exciting endeavor that you can be a part of!
Thanks to all who donated so generously for this project! We raised enough funds to complete this project by renovating the inside. Check out some of the photos or come in person and see for yourself this wonderful blessing.
We are seeking to replace the windows in our Mother House with energy efficient ones. They have served us well since they were first installed but the repairs outweigh the cost of getting new ones.
This two story building was one of the first buildings the Sisters built. It now houses our young women who are being formed into brides of Christ. The roof was able to withstand quite the beating through years of storms and high winds. It has seen it’s day though and is needing to be replaced. Our dear Sisters in formation are grateful for any help with this project.
These are for you, our family and friends who stay at our retreat house. In the Texas summer heat it is nice to know you can find a place to cool off.
